Our story
Considered clothing, made to be lived in
Coloniaire makes clothing for people who move between worlds — the field and the city, the early start and the late dinner. We design garments that are quietly handsome, honestly made, and built to be worn for years rather than seasons.

Where we began
A compass, a coastline, and a love of the outdoors
Coloniaire was founded on a simple idea: that the clothes we reach for most should be the ones that work hardest and last longest. We took the rigour of field and hunting wear — the weatherproofing, the deep pockets, the reinforced seams — and gave it the cut and finish of tailoring.
The result is two complementary lines, Sartorial and Country Sports, designed to be worn together. A waxed field coat over a soft-shouldered blazer. A gilet that belongs equally on a moor and a Monday.

“We’d rather make one coat you keep for twenty years than twenty you forget.”
Provenance
We work with mills and makers who have spent generations perfecting their craft, and we choose cloth for how it ages, weathers and earns its character.
Craft
Every garment is considered seam by seam — cut to move with you, finished by hand where it matters, and made to be repaired rather than replaced.
Longevity
We design against the throwaway. The best compliment a Coloniaire piece can earn is a second owner — and a story to go with it.
